Much of that level of expression comes from the efforts of the game's voice and performance actors, and Darksiders 3 has more than its fair share of behind-the-pixel talents. Even though the subject matter at hand might seem grim, the world of Darksiders is imaginative, and the characters within are remarkably expressive. Wait, wait, dodge, hit, hit, wait, wait, dodge etc.One of the big draws to the Darksiders series of games is personality. As the game doesn't make you invincible when falling (so multiple enemies or certain combos if you're stuck at the next rock/wall can stunlock you to death) and you can't dodge out of your combos that fight was annoying because you had to play so defensively. Lust also wasn't fun because of a second guy you suddenly had to keep an eye out for. She itself is very easy actually, doesn't help when she suddenly flies over your head and the camera goes nuts while the laser decides to full-spin. Pride with the laser (that speeds up at certain corners of the room) was frustrating when she jumped somewhere with the camera still locked on. If it's only one guy you can focus on the gameplay/movement/dodging worked quite well imo.Ĭombat often flopped for me when multiple things happened, mostly due to the camera and combos leaving you wide open. ![]() ![]() Just finished it, in the end I haven't had a lot of problems with any singular enemies.
